Meet Bernica Wilcox!
Artist Statement
My name is Bernica Wilcox. I am a part time student with a passion for creating experiences. During the day I work as a program director and an event coordinator. My nights mostly take place at a karate dojo where i practice martial arts. I have been creating for most of my life. Art has always been an outlet for me. Through art I have been able to express my dreams, desires, admirations and so much more. I have done live demonstrations before at large events, outside of galleries and at local sites. My art ranges from physical paintings to clothing that you can wear out and about. The subject matter tends to be fantasy work with a hint of realism. In the past years my art has been bright, colorful, and whimsical but it has taken a shift towards a more black and white contrasting appearance.
We rent our building for events, workshops, functions, parties, weddings, meetings, classes (one-time or ongoing), concerts, dances, poetry or literary readings and more.
