Artist Statement
My passion is capturing the beauty of the world through the lens of my camera. I began photographing in college, and that early interest has grown into a lifelong pursuit. I started as a landscape photographer, and over the past five years my work has expanded to include wildlife and portrait photography.
As a native New Englander, much of my inspiration comes from the coastal magic of Cape Ann, where I’ve lived for the past decade. My portfolio also includes images from across New England, our national parks, and travels throughout Europe. I’m especially drawn to the unique character each season brings and to the extraordinary quality of light found here on Cape Ann—particularly during the golden hours of sunrise and sunset.
I love exploring the places where nature and human presence intersect, and I often hike and drive to secluded locations in search of moments that may never occur again. Photography, for me, is about honoring those fleeting points in time. I devote significant care to editing each image so it reflects what I saw and felt in the moment.
We rent our building for events, workshops, functions, parties, weddings, meetings, classes (one-time or ongoing), concerts, dances, poetry or literary readings and more.
